Workshop Facilitator
Christian I. Williams, MS, PLPC, QHMP
Christian Williams is a compassionate and dedicated mental health professional who currently serves as a full-time therapist at a community-based behavioral health organization in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), credentials that signify her advanced education, clinical training, and supervised experience in the field of mental health. As a PLPC, she is actively working under clinical supervision to fulfill the requirements for full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Christian holds specialized training in trauma-informed care, perinatal mental health, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and play therapy. These evidence-based modalities enable her to support individuals across a wide range of emotional and psychological needs—particularly those who have experienced trauma, pregnancy-related mood disorders, or developmental challenges. Her approach is holistic, culturally responsive, and rooted in deep empathy and respect for the lived experiences of her clients.
Deeply committed to the well-being of marginalized communities, Christian’s work is guided by a passion for maternal mental health, faith-integrated therapy, and generational healing within communities of color. She has become a trusted advocate and clinician for women navigating the complexities of motherhood, trauma recovery, and spiritual growth. Her dedication stems from both personal and professional experiences, including her own journey as a single mother of two. These experiences fuel her drive to offer a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Rather than operating a traditional private practice, Christian extends her impact through select clinical services provided under supervision, with a clear focus on serving women of color, mothers, and individuals seeking a faith-informed therapeutic experience. She supports clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum concerns, and life transitions. Her future plans include expanding her reach through workshops, community programs, and eventually opening a wellness practice that integrates mental health, spirituality, and education.
Christian believes that mental health is a form of ministry, and she approaches her work with the conviction that therapy and faith are not opposing forces—but powerful allies in the journey toward healing. Through her clinical expertise, personal resilience, and spiritual grounding, she creates spaces for her clients to reclaim their peace, walk in purpose, and step into their full power.
